Project: PEER 2 – Climate Change Policy Integration, Coherence and Governance (2008-2009)

Postdoctoral Research Associate, funded by the UK Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). Researcher and coordinator position located within a multi-institutional and interdisciplinary research initiative to develop analytical approaches for climate change policy integration and coherence.

Principal objectives were:
• To assess the degree of climate policy integration across different countries and policy sectors, in some cases at the local level, and to determine key coherence problems between climate policies and other policies at different levels.
• To suggest means – such as institutions, processes or measures – to enhance climate policy integration and improve policy coherence in the context of multi-level governance.
